BSNL to launch promotional unlimited Broadband plans: Unlimited BB249 w.e.f 09-09-16 across all circles of India

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched its entry level new promotional postpaid Broadband plan: “Experience Unlimited broadband i.e. BB249” for new customers both ADSL and FTTH mode with monthly charges of Rs. 249 (excluding taxes and Installation charges will be waived off during the promotional period).

    
     Users will get unlimited data at a speed of 2Mbps for first 1GB of data and thereafter 1Mbps speed for rest of the month. This means, if any BSNL new subscriber use 300GB of data in a month then they are paying less than Re. 1/GB with an high speed data bandwidth. Also subscribers will get unlimited calling facility from Landline to any network in India (Local+STD) on all Sundays (24hrs) and from 9PM – 7AM remaining days (except Sundays).

  
      This plan has been introduced as an new level promotional offer by BSNL and will be live from this Friday, September 9. And the subscribers can avail this promotional offer of BB249 for the first six months and then BSNL will shift this plan to new BBG Combo ULD 499 plan with a cost of Rs. 499 per month (excluding taxes).

This is screenshot of my own broadband plan of Unlimited 1Mbps but i does get a speed of 1.35Mbps.

Also, BSNL will charge Re. 1 per 3 minutes for all BSNL network outgoing calls, and Rs. 1.2 per 3 minutes for all other network outgoing calls.

BSNL launch this promotional offer to compete with Reliance JIO tariff plans. Other operators like AIRTEL, VODAFONE are cutting down their prices following ahead of the Reliance JIO tariff plans.
